A preliminary scientific research in the use of hallucinogenic drugs reveals that these drugs may have a positive impact in people’s lives. In one case, Dr. Clark Martin, who struggled through chemotherapy for kidney cancer, credits his six-hour psychedelic experience with helping him overcome his depression and profoundly transforming his relationships with his daughter and friends.
As a result, many celebrities who have shied away from these drugs for fear of being stigmatized are giving them a second look. “It is just what the doctor f***ing ordered”, said a leader of a well known rock and roll band, “maybe this drug may f***ing help improve my relationship with my groupies” he added.
Romero Palerto, an aspiring singer living in California, told us that no one will dare go against the advice of a doctor when it comes to taking drugs. Mr. Palerto confided to us that it is his hope that these drugs may help improve his hallucinations.”Right now, I hallucinate about committing suicide. It would be great to hallucinate about winning American Idol” Mr. Palerto said.
Not everyone agrees with the benefits of these drugs however. Big Johnny D, a drug trafficker who supervises over 500 street drug dealers in Texas, told us that he is worried about the influence that these studies may have on his dealers. “Our motto in our business is: Don’t get high on your own supply”, he said “I don’t want these studies convince my dealers to smoke my drugs, instead of selling them. If they do, I will deep-six their hallucinating butts.”
Jeannette Roberts, president of Mothers Against Psychedelics (MAP), an organization opposed to the use of hallucinogenic drugs, also told us that she was worried that these studies were glamorizing the use of these drugs among young adults.
Meanwhile, many people across the country are lining up to participate in the drug study, hoping to get a six-hour high for free. Continue….
