While the public’s imagination has been captured by Apple’s new patent application for 3d glasses, unreported however is a new type of 3d glasses going on sale tomorrow in the US that can see through people’s clothes.

“Our new 3d glasses are a great improvement over the new Full Body Airport X-Ray Scanners that only show  fuzzy black and white pictures of someone’s body”, said Leon Mekeff, president of Koolbodyglasses Corporation, the company that makes the glasses.

Unlike the new full body airport x-ray scanners, the new glasses reveal a person’s body parts in color with such a a high resolution that it will display even the tiniest scar on someone’s skin.

Pre-sales demands have been so high that the company is shipping another 200,000 glasses to its stores in Atlanta and Los Angeles.  These glasses don’t come cheap however. They range from $200 for the lower resolution to $500 to get the highest resolution that can display private parts in full detail.

Asked if these glasses invade on people’s privacy, the company points to the development of its new line of bras, panties and men’s underwear designed to hide the picture of someone’s private parts from these 3d glasses.

Made out of the same material as the anti-radiation blanket found in doctors’ offices, these new underthings  range from $30 for a bra to $75 for panties or men’s underwear. Continue…
