A rat who ran in front of President Obama during a speech on financial reform is generating controversies among Washington pundits. At issue was whether the rat was planted by Republicans to upstage President Obama.
However, a secret service official dismissed the idea saying that the secret service does not allow plants or speech crashers in the white house. Asked why the rat was allowed to crash Obama’s speech , the secret service official said that they have launched a full blown investigation into the matter and would not speculate on where the rat came from or where it was going.
